My Story
How I Got Started
The wife of a fireman, mom of two amazingly smart children, business owner and employee to a job that I absolutely love; this is who I am, but this is not where it began…
In April of 2009, I found myself at a job where I was bringing home six-figures, driving a company car, and being the breadwinner of my household.
Society says that I should have been happy; I made three times what the average household in America was surviving on.
However, I found myself tired of being physically sick on Sunday nights, depressed about going to work, wasting away my days and secretly wanting to finally wake up to a job that I could only dream of.
I actually prayed that I would get laid off because I was scared to quit. I guess God heard those prayers because eventually, I lost my job. Scared with a six-month-old child, I found myself angry and quickly needed to get over it. My family supported me, and I soon developed a strategy to help keep us financially afloat.
After six months of trial and error, bombing interviews and a lot of research; I finally got my breakthrough. I landed a job that I love! I’ve been fortunate to recruit and hire for several Fortune 500 companies, and I hold industry-recognized certifications as a Job and Career Transition Coach (JCTC) and a Certified Professional Resume Writer (CPRW).
Now, I support professional women in finding their dream jobs. I take them through a tested formula that I developed to not only land the job but also position themselves for ultimate career success.
